Marina Anselmo Few albums and music take you to a place unknown, through time and space, eyes closed allowing each note and tone to carry you through the process. This is a rare journey I don't want to leave. I might not.

fyeahmetal It's haunting and jaw-droppingly cinematic, easily on par with, say, The Revenant soundtrack. This feels darker and more "internal" than KJG's previous ambient records, which IMO reflected the wide open spaces of his Idyllwild home. The record beautifully mixes synths and analog instruments, with piano parts reminding me of Trent Reznor's soundtrack work, minus the bombast. Favorite track: David's Pass.
